Dunham utilizes high-performance engineering strategies to reduce operating costs, and ensure the comfort of those using the facility. For example, daylighting and natural ventilation can "bring the outdoors in," providing natural light deep into the interior spaces of a building and taking advantage of natural airflow as weather conditions allow.

We believe that we can most effectively create the kinds of spaces our clients desire by interacting early in the design process with the project's owner and architect and developing the design in a holistic approach. Dunham's design process for high-performance buildings also includes computational fluid dynamics airflow modeling, advanced design analysis and careful equipment selection.
Dunham is a member of the United States Green Building Council and a founding member of the Upper Mississippi Headwaters Chapter of the USGBC. To underscore our commitment to sustainable design, over half of our technical staff are LEED accredited professionals.
